Coburn’s can offer you complete or partial packing services performed by dedicated trained personnel. We use the latest techniques and packing materials, coupled with many years of experience. Coburn’s is proud of our extremely low incident of damage claims.
If you would prefer to do some of the packing yourself, we recommend that you pack all the non- breakables and have Coburn’s professionals pack the breakable items.
Coburn’s can also build custom crates which will provide extra protection for your very fragile items, antiques & valuable pieces.

How much does packing cost?
Local moves – packing is priced per carton and the cost will depend on the amount of cartons required for your move.
Long distance moves – packing is charged per carton or by weight, whichever is less cost to the customer.
Your Coburn's Moving Consultant can provide you with an estimated cost to pack your local, long distance or overseas move.
Can I do some of my own packing?
Yes, but we recommend that you have Coburn’s pack all the breakable items, especially on a long distance or overseas move.
If I do some or all of my packing am I still covered under insurance?
If there is outside damage to an owner packed carton the items inside will be covered. If there is no outside damage to the carton the items inside the carton will not be covered. The settlement amount will depend on the Transit Protection Coverage you selected.
Do you sell packing boxes & paper?
Yes. Coburn’s has specially designed cartons and paper for moving. We also offer gently used cartons at a reduced price. Your Coburn's Moving Consultant can provide you with costs.
