Local moves are normally priced on an hourly basis and are charged from the time the truck leaves Coburn’s yard until the time they return. Our local moving service also includes free wardrobes for your hanging clothes and mirror cartons if required. Basic cargo coverage protection is included in the cost of your move and Replacement Cost Protection is available at an extra cost.

FAQ’S

Will the movers pack everything?

Coburn’s can provide full packing services at an additional cost. We also can provide you with specialized moving cartons and paper for a minimal cost if you would prefer to do your own packing.

Will the movers take care of booking the elevator?

It is your responsibility to book the elevator with the apartment management or Condo Corporation. We recommend that you do this as soon as you know your moving date as there may be other people moving in or out on the same day.

Will the movers take down curtain rods and other items affixed to the wall?

For liability reasons, the movers do not remove anything that is attached to the wall.

How do I pay for my move?

Moves must be paid by cash, certified cheque or money order or by credit card. Coburn’s accepts VISA, Master Card and American Express.

What if there is damage on my move?

Please note the damage on the Coburn Local Work Order and notify Coburn’s as soon as possible so we may start the settlement process.
